There were many stunning design features incorporated into this new-build house overlooking the Surrey Hills. From the polished concrete floor by Lazenby Contracts, through the eco nature pool outside and the metallic kitchen worktops, to the circular staircase. We were delighted to contribute to these details by being asked to apply our micro cement to the walls and risers of the staircase which ran from basement to the first floor. The clients chose our Fine Texture aesthetic in colour Smoke. We also applied micro cement to a feature wall in the kitchen. This was done using the various different materials from Ideal Work’s Microtopping® range to create a rough concrete look. Finally the sealer PUWB Easy, with a little white pigment in the mix, was rag applied so the pigment remained in the texture’s low points and angles for an enhanced aesthetic.
