Reading, relaxation and contemplation was the inspiration for the lakehouse in the grounds of this extensive residential property in Surrey. The micro cement floor was laid directly on to the concrete slab. The aesthetic has a colour of 50% black with some visual movement and a slight texture sealed for protection from the elements with a two-part, solvent based, polyurethane sealer in a gloss finish.
