For the lift lobbies in this major residential and commercial development between the railway lines in Camden, the architects wanted to find an economic solution to make a stunning first impression for the many visitors. The panel effect was the idea of the architects while the micro cement aesthetic and the method for creating the panels was ours. The panels were created with the use of masking tape on painted walls with each panel being done individually to make sure of a different aesthetic for each panel. The aesthetic of the panels was a variation on our standard style Roughcast. The colour was mixed on site under the direction of the architect who was looking for a colour to blend in well with the floors which had already been completed.
